2. Retention and Use of Personal Information
Personal information is retained and used for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:
Internal Policy and Misuse Prevention: Records of misuse are retained for 1 year.
Regulatory Compliance:
Contract and subscription withdrawal records: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc.).
Payment and goods supply records: 5 years.
Consumer complaint and dispute resolution records: 3 years.
Identity verification records: 6 months (Act on Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection).
Service visit records: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act).
Inactive accounts are classified as "Dormant" after one year of non-use. We notify you 30 days in advance of the impending deactivation and deletion of personal information.
